I bought 500 of the hex design mini-chips to use mainly for my 18xx games. I love them. Awesome quality and the smaller size makes them easier to transport for games away from home.
I have these because my first setup had 10s, 50s and 100s. The 10s, 100s and 500s look far too similar for the rail design. However, using 1,5,20,100, 500 works great!

These are significantly better quality than any other small poker chips on the market. They have a hefty weight to them and a nice texture that prevents sliding. Not to mention aesthetically pleasing.
